According to the new personal privacy protection law in Japan, for the completed orders that have fulfilled the service commitment, the system needs to irreversibly destroy the personal data of the guests within the specified time.
Therefore we encrypt personal information for orders placed at facilities in Japan, so that the private information of customers will not be revealed even if the system database is breached. Once the order has been completed for 60 days, the system will modify these data into asterisks, which is equivalent to irreversible destruction, and the system operators cannot obtain the actual user data, which greatly improves the security and confidentiality of personal data.
At present, this function has been launched, and we will continue to observe and evaluate the impact of this function on customer service, financial reconciliation and other functions, and make corresponding adjustments to other functions if necessary.
